Born and raised in Celestial City, Hayley could never feel more at home anywhere else. During her childhood, Hayley was always skilled academically, but as a result, didn’t have an awful lot of friends. She was rather close to her older brother, Lannan. They were inseparable at every turn, and always had each other’s back, no matter the risk, and without exception. As time went on, Celestial City started to become infected, crime was rampant, and the police weren’t enough.
One night on her way home from work, Hayley was attacked and left for dead by a member of the Arachnids, in order to send a message to Mayor Kathryn Lucille’s office. But before she could bleed out, she was offered a second chance. Of course it didn’t come without a cost, Hayley had to agree to host an extradimensional entity known as the Darkness, and the two don’t always get along, but share a mutual respect, and the Darkness provides Hayley with powers most women could only dream of.
